1. How do I register for NAU CTCenter workshops?
There are several ways to register for a workshop.

2. Where do I park for workshops?
When you attend a NAU CTCenter workshop, parking is free and a parking permit and map will be mailed to you along with your confirmation letter. If you register late we can fax you a map and you will be able to pickup a parking pass at the workshop registration desk.
3. Can I get college credit for NAU CTCenter workshops?
Our Computing Training Center workshops are offered as non-credit NAU workshops. We do give out training certificates from NAU which state the program
seat hours and program title.
4. Do computer workshops start at the beginning of each semester?
Workshops are offered year-round. Our online schedule is available 24 hours a day at: http://www.ctcenter.nau.edu/schedule.asp
5. Do you have workshops during the evening or weekends?
Currently we do not offer evening or weekend workshops.
6. What is not included when registering for workshops?
The only cost not included in the registration price is lunch. We provide all the workshop handouts and materials, as well as refreshments and certificates of completion as part of the registration fee.
7. How will I be notified of the workshops I register for?
A confirmation packet will be mailed to you. It will name the workshops(s) that you are enrolled in, their dates, times and locations and your balance due. It will also include a parking permit, map, and our contact information if you have any questions.
8. Is there a cost to repeat a computer workshop that I attended?
Audits are available on a space available basis for any (paid) workshop completion within 12 months of the workshop. Call 800-442-8808 or 928-523-1070 to audit a workshop.
9. What is the policy on canceling from a workshop?
Full refunds are provided if student cancellations are received within at least 48 hours of the workshops start date and there are no fees to transfer your registration to a coworker or other replacement. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice and no-shows will be charged a $35 late cancellation fee. NAU Computer Training Center reserves the right to cancel workshops due to emergency situations and workshops with low student enrollment (usually less than four students). Full refunds will be provided for NAU cancellations.
10. Are there group or individual discounts available?
Yes. We have group discounts available for groups of 5 or more. We also have special rates setup for certain clients – please contact your organization’s training manager to see if you may qualify. We also provide a government rate for city, county, and state agencies including NAU faculty and staff.
11. What is the profile of a typical person taking a NAU CTCenter workshop?
Generally, students taking workshops in the NAU Computer Training Center program are adults wanting to better their skills for their current occupation, wanting to further their education, or looking to make a career change.
12. Does each student have their own computer during the workshops?
Yes. We do not allow more students than there are computers available. Our workshops are designed to be hands-on and interactive. You will leave your workshop truly being able to do the skills presented and feel comfortable going back to your office or home and utilizing the software.
13. Can I review an outline for a specific NAU CTCenter workshop?
Yes. We can mail or E-mail you descriptions and outlines for the workshops we offer. You can also view our workshops descriptions online at http://www.ctcenter.nau.edu/
14. What distinguishes the NAU CTCenter from other training vendors?
Our instructors are highly experienced and teach real world skills. Our facilities are modern and use the most current software available. We offer convenience in both our location and our registration process. Our instruction is applied education, so the learning environment is hands on for individuals to return to their work and apply the skills and information they learn as soon as possible.
